What are silkie dreadloc extensions?

My dreadloc extensions are made from kanekalon braiding hair that is locked in a spiral pattern instead of being crocheted in the regular dreadloc fashion. This gives the hair a unique swirl that pairs extremely well with extensions that feature multiple colors, and does not contain the lumps and bumps of traditional crocheted dreads. Kanekalon performs particularly well in water; it doesn't absorb extreme amounts of water like wool dreads and dries much faster. It also does not lose its color or fade when exposed to sunlight or chlorine. Kanekalon also allows for very natural movement within the dread.
